Helen Young Kelly, daughter of Kin Young and Agnes Smith Young was born in Terry, Mississippi. She completed her education in the local area schools. At an early age she professed a hope in Christ and was baptized. Helen moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. Here she united with the Open Door Church of Deliverance, where she served on the Mothers Board. Helen had been employed by the Fairmont Glass Containers as an Inspector. She retired in 1985 after 25 years of service. In her leisure time she enjoyed cooking and it was her joy to feed and entertain her family. We love and miss her so much. I can still hear her sing, I'm gonna walk around God's Heaven all day. She was and still is in our hearts, the Greatest Woman who ever lived. |
