To the man we know as daddy, we love you and are going to miss you. We know your with the Lord,so we would like to dedicate this poem to you.
Gods Garden
God looked around his garden and he found an empty space. he then looked down upon this earth, and saw Calvin's tired face. he put his arms around him,and lifted him to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful he always takes the best. He knew he was in pain, he knew that he'd never get well on earth again. God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. He closed Calvin's weary eyelids and whispered 'Peace be Shine'. It broke our hearts to lose him, but he didn't go alone. For a part of all of us went with him, the day God called our dear Calvin, daddy and friend home. |
