A father of 4 married on March 14,1942 to Florence which after 58 loving years their love for each other will never fade. He was a caring father. During the early days and tough times, he made it seem not so tough as long as we all were together. He was and ( I'm sure he still is) a master story teller. If there was an audience, then he had a story to tell, it did not matter how many times we heard it, he made it seem like it was the first time. He was a lover of life, everyday was an adventure with the possibilities of becoming another good story to share. His laughter would fill the room many times during my lifetime, which he passed on to his family as the greatest gift from the heart. Things he loved and treasured:His wife, Florence, his children and family, bowling, laughter, roses, wood working, History of Native Americans, the Dakotas, collecting coins, snacking on nuts, the sun on his face, teasing Florence, the outdoors,Holidays, Remembering the good memories.Dad, I like to remember what you once told us during a heavy thunderstorm. 'Don't be afraid, that's the angels bowling up there and if you listen real close you will hear them get a strike, there's one now!' I know your ears are open to hear our prayers, we all love you and miss you deeply and hope that you' are doing fine.XOXO |
