| Remembering Betty warms our heart. The day she met Bill is the place to start. December of '41, she was quiet a looker. She met a blue eyed boy and a coworker. C.B. Cones Manufacturing was never the same. October of '42 she shared his name. Betty & Bill they weren't in much of a hurry. Two years later they had a child named Shirley. Betty as a parent could be compared to no other. Eighteen years later she became a grandmother. It started with one, then two, three and four. She finally told Shirley please no more. The family then really started to grow. Nine great grandchildren who really loved her so. Betty was a seamstress and one of the best. She made her granddaughter's wedding dress. When it came to cooking she was a winner. We all loved her dumplings at Christmas Dinner. Betty also had a passion for art. The paintings of clowns showed the joy in her heart. She blessed the earth for 89 years. And for this loss we shed our tears. Betty could always make us smile, With her laughter, love and her style. |
