Christina McGuire, "Teenie" to her family, Chris to her friends, and Chrissie to me, was my very best friend, confidant and critic. She was beautiful, perky and a fun loving girl that everyone liked, and I loved her dearly. Chris was a sweet, thoughtful, caring person who always remembered scores of friends' birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas every year, as well as in times of sickness, with cheery cards which she loved to send. Then she was honestly surprised when she was sent so many cards during her final illness. She was a very good homemaker, house manager and loving mother. We had a good marriage together, with good times and rough, and it came to an end with her burial the day after our 51st anniversary. |
