Robert was a kind, loving and gentle man, who loved his wife Ginny and his children Travis, Suzi, Debi, and his granddaughters Erica and Jennifer, and Suzi's husband Keith Hobbs. He loved spending time on his farm. He was a 32nd degree Mason in both the York Rite and the Indianapolis Scottish Rite. Robert had a deep and abiding faith in God and Country. He earned his Under-grad and Masters degree from I.U., and was given the honorary title of Sagamore of the Wabash. Robert was employed for six years by Marion County, Indianapolis, IN as chief deputy coroner. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II, serving in the D-day Invasion on a LST. He enjoyed participating in the Society of Indiana Pioneers and their bus trips and dinners. He made friends wherever he went and loved people. As Ginny's cherished friend and husband, he will be sadly missed. JE T'AIME |
