| Louis Edwin Fields was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend. He was a humble man who was generous to a fault. He was giving of himself and anything he had. He was kind and lived by the golden rule. A veteran of W.W.II, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in Okinawa and Guam. He always had great pride in his military service during the war. Louis was married in 1944 to his high school sweetheart, Pat and had 3 children, Bridget, Mark and Kelly. He was also the Grandfather of six. He was an accomplished athlete, playing baseball for the Indians and the U.S. Army Basketball Team. He is truly missed by all who knew him, especially his devoted wife, children and grandchildren. |
